TERMS
&CONDITIONS:
The terms of the sale are cash and all
settlements must be made at the close of the auction.
LIABILITY:
All persons who attend the sale do so at their
own risk. Martin Ranch and Ogallala Livestock assume no liability,
legal or otherwise, for any accidents which may occur.
HERD HEALTH:
All bulls have been vaccinated with Vision
7/Somnus, Titanium 5/PHM, Ivomectin Pour On and Boostered. Bulls
have also been fed (CTC) chlortetracycline for a five day period
every thirty days to insure good health. Poured again with
Ivermectin Pour On mid December.

FREE FEED:
All bulls will be taken back to
Martin Ranch where we will condition bulls for breeding season. We
will feed the bulls FREE OF CHARGE until delivery after March
1 at which time a Veterinarian will give the bulls a complete
soundness and fertility evaluation. Purchase Price will be refunded
to you immediately on any bull that does not pass semen test prior
to delivery.
FREE DELIVERY:
All bulls will be delivered FREE OF CHARGE for
the first 250 miles, after March 1.
1ST BREEDING SEASON GUARANTEE:
All bulls selling for $1500 or more will have
a 1st Breeding Season Guarantee by Martin Ranch. 1st Breeding Season
is time of turn out to 90 days after turnout. If bull should get
hurt, buyer can return bull to Martin Ranch and pick out another
bull. If such bull is not suited or needed, Martin Ranch will give
you full purchase price credit on next year ’s sale only.
VOLUME DISCOUNTS:
3 Bulls $100 -$100 for each bull thereafter
WE DO NOT CREEP FEED
Bull ’s have been conditioned on a bull
growing ration NO CREEP FEED. We do not creep feed. I believe
fertility, soundness and a bull ’s ability to hold up through the
breeding season is critical. Bull ’s that are fed too hard too long
have trouble accomplishing this. I also believe evaluating the
mother ’s maternal value is very important. She need ’s to calve,
rebreed and maintain condition while raising a calf. The older more
aggressive calves control the creep feeder ’s,therefore not allowing
a true evaluation of a calf ’s performance or dam ’s ability to
prove her contribution on her own.

WELCOME FRIENDS,
to the
Martin Ranch 18th Annual Bull Sale. This year's offering is one of
the most strongest powerful set of bull's we have offered. I feel
the quality and consistency of our program gets deeper each year.
This is accomplished by staying focused on what I want our bull's to
look like and their genetic make up and their ability to pass these
genetics on to your calf crop. Quality and consistency is
accomplished by using a small nucleus of High Accuracy Balance Trait
Herd Bulls that are at the top of the Angus Breed for not only their
EPD's but their eye appeal and ability to pass their genetics to the
next generation. Please take time to study the power in the Herd
Bull Battery we use.
Out of the seven main bull's we used, five are in the top 10% of the
Angus Breed for Weaning Weight EPD, six are in the top 10% for
Yearling Weight EPD, one is in the top 10% for Scrotal
Circumference, three are in the top 10% for Milk EPD, six are
positive for IMF EPD, three are in the top 10% for REA EPD, two are
in the top 10% for $W, six are in the top 10% for $F and four are in
the top 10% for $B.
In 2005 and 2003 Martin Ranch was awarded Angus America Seedstock
Producer of the Year. This award goes to the breeder whose genetics
have produced the highest average premium per head on cattle
marketed through Angus America.

This is a family business and Kristy, Tanner, Ty and I would like to
thank God for all of the Blessings he has given us. Tanner has
graduated from high school and is now taking Ag Business at NCTA. I
want to thank Tanner for helping me take bull pictures this year and
the work he has done on the computer getting them ready for the
printer. Ty is a sophomore this year and enjoys hunting every chance
he gets. This past fall he got a really nice 5 x 5 mule deer.
